Project report: Buddy Event Social Work (JG 2020 & 2021)
On October 13th, 2021 the Buddy Event 2021 took place in Sixty Twenty of the 2020 and 2021 social work classes, It started at 6:00 p.m. In the run-up to the event, there was advance notice in the classes.
In order to support the new students of the Social Work degree in the first semester as best as possible, a certain number of students from the 2020 class volunteer to act as “buddy” (contact person) for issues. This should promote the group dynamics of the course and enable an easy entry for first-semester students into the course and student life.
In courses of the JG 2021, profiles of the voluntary “buddies” of the 3rd semester were distributed, these were taken by the JG2020 students to the event, to find his / her buddy. There was a drink voucher for each person.
Many were present and everyone there was a lively exchange between the two semesters. We received a lot of positive feedback from the first and third semesters. At around 10:00 p.m. the event ended.
